Suzi Grady is the Director of Petaluma Bounty. A seasoned farmer, she has 15 years of experience in building community around food access, gardening and food system collaboration. She speaks Spanish, trained at UC Santa Cruz Farm, a certified permaculturalist, graduate of the GETUP Program from SF Garden for the Environment and taught gardening, composting and nutrition at school gardens in San Francisco. Suzi graduated from University of Michigan with a dual degree in Political Science and Spanish Literature where she also studied in Santiago, Chile. She is a 2014 Fellow of the Leadership Institute of Ecology and Economy, a 2018 Fellow of the Co-Action Institute, a member of the CHIPA Wellness Committee, Sonoma County Food System Alliance Coordinating and Policy Committee, and a founding member of the Sonoma County Food Recovery Coalition. In 2017, Suzi and the Bounty were recognized by Community Alliance for Family Farmers as the Food Advocate of the Year. Suzi is originally from Michigan, loves living at the edge of soil and community health, and she considers seeds, dogs and compost dear friends!
