Petaluma Bounty

Suzi Grady is the Director of Petaluma Bounty and a seasoned farmer with 15 years of experience in food access, gardening, and food system collaboration. A UC Santa Cruz Farm trainee and certified permaculturalist, she’s also a graduate of the GETUP Program and has taught gardening, composting, and nutrition in San Francisco schools. Suzi holds a dual degree in Political Science and Spanish Literature from the University of Michigan and studied in Santiago, Chile. She is a 2014 Fellow of the Leadership Institute for Ecology and Economy, a 2018 Co-Action Institute Fellow, and an active member of multiple local food policy and wellness groups. In 2017, she and Petaluma Bounty were named Food Advocate of the Year by Community Alliance with Family Farmers. Originally from Michigan, Suzi loves living at the intersection of soil and community health—and considers seeds, dogs, and compost dear friends.
