Ruben Hernandez

Ruben is a Senior Program Coordinator with the County of Marin Department of Public Works, Waste Management Division. In his current role he oversees SB 1383 compliance at all County of Marin buildings, facilities, and events. He also provides compliance and outreach support to unincorporated areas of Marin. He has over 12 years of experience in solid waste, covering many aspects of the industry including client relations, outreach, management of commercial food diversion programs to create renewable energy, government and legislative affairs, and compliance with AB 341, AB 1826, and SB 1383.
