Natalie Goble is the Executive Chef and co-owner of Handline and Lowell’s, where her modern Californian cooking celebrates local bounty and honors the early immigrants who shaped California cuisine. She began in restaurant front-of-house roles in high school, later farming her family’s Two Belly Acres organic farm after graduating from UC Santa Cruz. Supplying produce to Lowell’s sparked one of the region’s first farmer-restaurant partnerships. Driven by a desire to follow ingredients from farm to plate, Goble trained in the kitchen under Chef Jeremy Whitcomb, learning to prepare Italian-inspired dishes. She became Executive Chef at Lowell’s and, in 2016, opened Handline as Executive Chef and co-owner.
