Napa Recycling

Naama Brenner Abramovitch’s passion for recycling began while living in San Francisco, where she earned a master’s degree in Geography with a concentration in Resource Management and Environmental Planning from San Francisco State University.
Ten years ago, she began her career as a Recycling Assistant with the City of Napa, quickly immersing herself in the world of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot (composting). Within a year, she transitioned to Napa Recycling as a Recycling Specialist, where she has spent the past nine years deepening her expertise. Naama works closely with businesses, schools, Napa residents, local organizations, and product manufactures to promote waste reduction, reuse strategies, and proper sorting.
She is passionate about public outreach and empowering people to take meaningful action.
She currently serves on the boards of the Northern California Recycling Association (NCRA) and the California Product Stewardship Council (CPSC).
