Erin Levine

Erin Levine has worked in resource recovery for nearly 20 years. She began by organizing electronic waste collection events, then spent over a decade focused on organic waste management and compost use. Erin has supported commercial compost facilities across the West Coast and collaborated with agricultural end users to promote compost application.

She is now the Resource Recovery Manager at World Centric, a leading manufacturer of certified compostable food service ware. Erin holds a B.A. in Liberal and Civic Studies from St. Mary’s College and is a Certified Composting Professional through the US Composting Council. She also serves on the California SB 54 Advisory Board and the Contra Costa County Sustainability Commission.
