Diana moved to Sebastopol in 1999 with her husband and two sons. She has led projects supporting youth, seniors, nonprofits, emergency preparedness, and the environment. From 2010–2017, she served as executive director of the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, building lasting community partnerships.

A UC Santa Cruz honors graduate in Economics and Spanish Literature, Diana earned her law degree from UC Davis and worked as a Public Defender and in labor law. Raised by a single mom, she values education, hard work, and social justice.

Her local leadership includes programs like TeensWork, Tour d’Organics, and emergency response efforts. Elected to the City Council in 2020, she serves on regional committees focused on homelessness, climate action, and public health.
