Bea Johnson and her family have produced just one pint of trash per year since 2008. Dubbed “The Priestess of Waste-Free Living” by The New York Times, she has been featured globally for proving that zero waste can be stylish, healthy, and cost-effective. Her blog-turned-bestselling book, Zero Waste Home (translated into 26 languages), introduced the 5R methodology and sparked a worldwide movement. Bea has inspired countless individuals to adopt zero waste living, start unpackaged shops, and create reusable products. A leading voice in the movement, she has completed 17 international speaking tours, giving talks in 59 countries. Her clients include Google, Amazon, Starbucks, TEDx, the European Parliament, and the UN. A Grand Prize winner of The Green Awards, Bea is a French native living in Mill Valley, California.
